  1. The Burnaby Task Force On Homelessness is a focal point for all of us who are concerned about people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. It is important that our communities continue to seek opportunities to create affordable and supported housing to accommodate the full range of individuals and families in need of shelter and assistance.

  2. The Burnaby Task Force On Homelessness is one of the most important organizations in the city. Not only do Task Force members offer invaluable services that make a direct difference in the lives of those with the most need in our community, its leadership serves as a strong voice for the homeless at the local, regional and national levels.

  3. Thank you to the Burnaby Task Force On Homelessness and your dedicated volunteers for your efforts in ending homelessness. I support the work because I want to live in a community where everyone is treated with respect and their basic needs are met.

  4. I support the great work the Burnaby Task Force On Homelessness does for our community. The Task Force plays an important role in our community by giving a voice to some of our most vulnerable citizens and plays a key role in establishing and maintaining important services for these same citizens.

  5. I support the Burnaby Task Force on Homelessness’ goals of developing a continuum of housing, championing adequate and stable incomes, providing appropriate community supports and increasing community awareness and capacity building which are all needed to insure these community members are supported. Success at these goals will result in a more inclusive and positive community for Burnaby. A community’s positive treatment of the most vulnerable is a reflection of the community as a whole.
